I am in Sendai to attend the UN global conference on World Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction as a representative of Korean Red Cross.
I just had a dinner with Japanese Red Cross team including Mr. Konoe sang whi is the honorary Chairman of Int Federation of Red Cross.
I saw Hukushima area from the distance and felt so sorry what happened but also admirable how they recuperated and host such a constructive meeting like what I am attending.
There seems a lot to learn from Japanese even though the current Japanese leader Abe is not doing something constructive....
Through Red Cross links, we will build a cordial good friendship based on purely humanitarian ground...
